As I neared 30yrs and saw my body slipping, I took control with FreakToFit’s guidance. A balanced diet and smart workouts changed everything for me.
what motivated you to want to lose your weight?
It was not this particular moment which made me realize I needed to change, it was a gradual process. I started to feel more exhausted, my favorite saree blouses began to tighten, and I generally felt uncomfortable, and that too.
There was an occasion when I only scaled two flights of stairs in the afternoon and needed to have a rest. Then on that day, I weighed myself later and the scale indicated 75 kg. I have not forgotten that figure all the evening.
At 30, I knew that it was high time that I took the reins or it will be even more difficult in future. On the same night, I made my promise to myself that I would no longer be lackadaisical about my health but make gradual and consistent transformations.
“Change does not come with a giant leap, it comes the moment you become aware that you are not paying attention to yourself.”
What were your goals?
I had one objective in mind and that was to be happy in my own skin.
I also desired to be strong enough to make it through the day without feeling tired, to love putting on my favorite clothes once again and most of all, to restore my confidence.
By then, I had grown slim to XXL-size, and I did not feel comfortable even during informal parties. I had a goal of losing to 60 kg, which is a healthy weight in my body and to sustain it without leading a sedentary and miserable life.
How did you manage to achieve your goals?
It was not a crash diet, no drastic change. I concentrated on achievable and small steps that I could sustain in the long run.
- I started to cook at home and did not consume fatty and processed snacks.
- I began to walk every day – morning or evening, but at least 8,000-10,000 steps every day.
- I ceased having heavy meals late in the night.
- I maintained hydration during the day. ⁊ On the weekend, I had a balance and calming yoga and breathing exercises.
- I established a sleep schedule so that my body has enough rest and recovery.
Throughout the time, my energy levels went up, my clothes became more fitting, and the weighing scale started registering even positive changes. Any little gain was a big triumph.
- Stay hydrated. Water aids in your metabolism and regulates unneeded hunger. ️
- Foods that are your favorites should not be discarded. Eat them, here and there, in bits.
- Track your meals. Keeping track of what you consume is a huge difference.
- Move daily. Even the mere walks or housework are beneficial.
- Be patient. It does not happen quickly but it requires consistency.
Follow the 80/20 rule. Most of the time eat clean, the rest treat.

How did FreakToFit help?
After several months I was at a standstill the weight was not dropping off, and the desire to do so waned. That was when I contacted FreakToFit, and it became a difference in the world.
Their team helped me with:
- The individualized diet plan based on my eating habits and routine.

Did you encounter setbacks?
Of course. Family dinners, festivals and stressful days usually kept one behind schedule. At some points, I had some weight back and was demoralized.
And yet I kept myself in mind–it is not a journey of transition. It is more about having more productive lifelong habits. I got back on my feet step by step without any feeling of guilt or hurry.
“Failure is not the end, it is only a reminder that you have actually gone a long way.“
Advice for Others.
You do not need to begin on a high note, and simply begin. Make one small step, maybe, it is walking 15 minutes, reducing sugar or sleeping on schedule. Big changes come as a result of small efforts made daily. Do not compare your progress with people. Everyone’s pace is different. Having 15 kg of weight that I will lose naturally after mindful eating and maintaining habits, you also can.
What are your future goals?
Since I have already reached 60 kg, I have an objective to remain the same, to be healthy, fit my body, and become stronger in general. In my experience with FreakToFit, I also hope to encourage more women to think that change can always happen not by putting themselves through the ultra-dieting regime but by exercising discipline and care in their everyday lives.
The most important lesson?
This experience also made me realize that it is not only loss of weight that makes people fit, but rather, respecting, being disciplined, and mentally strong. One will have days when motivation will not come but attendance will make a difference in the end. What you think matters to your body — so you have to teach your brain to always be positive and powerful.
Health is not a race to complete, it is a relationship that you develop with yourself.
