Lotte Kopecky Wins by a Huge Margin in Giro: “one of the Best Lead-outs Ever”.

“It was very hectic,” Kopecky began her story about the last kilometers. “There were a lot of roundabouts and the pace was very high. But I had great teammates around me all day. Especially in the final. They kept me in position perfectly. I think it was one of the best lead-outs I ever had. The timing was perfect. Elena Cecchini went with five hundred meters to go and Barbara (Guarischi, ed.) took the last corner. I started sprinting and when I passed her she was already saying ‘Yes!’. That was very nice.”
