Bosz Chooses Some Very Young Talents for PSV’s First Practice Match

PSV will not be playing with its strongest team in the first practice match of the preparation against Anderlecht on Saturday afternoon. Coach Peter Boz is giving a few very young talents a chance. Of the team that became champions last season, only goalkeeper Walter Benítez, Mauro Júnior, Luuk de Jong and Guus Til are in the team.

Armando Obispo was of course also a member of the selection that won the national title, but only played eleven times. The 25-year-old defender now plays centrally at the back, with Mauro on his left. Olivier Boscagli and Jordan Teze both start on the bench, but will undoubtedly still play as substitutes. André Ramalho is no longer there, the contract of the Brazilian defender has not been extended.

In midfield, EC players Jerdy Schouten and Joey Veerman are absent, which means Richie Ledzema (23) and Jevon Simons (18) will be at Til’s side. Ismail Saibari and Isaac Bababi will start as reserves. Hirving Lozano will also be in the dugout. De Jong will be joined up front by Jason van Duiven (19) and Manuel Bahaty (16). In defence, Matteo Dams (20) and Fabian Merién (15) will get playing time.
