CSM Oradea Defeated CSM Alexandria.
The match, which counted for the 14th stage, the last of the play-off, and which took place at Arena Antonio Alexe, ended with the score 31-29 for the Bihors.
The Oradeans started the game extremely modestly, being led from the start. The guests had an advantage of 3-4 goals during the first part, and at the end of it they even distanced themselves quite clearly. Thus, they entered the break with a six-goal advantage, score 12-18.
After the break, the evolution of the formation prepared by Cosmin Liberţ changed radically. In the first nine minutes of the second half, the red-blues scored seven times and conceded only one goal, in order to tie the score, 19-19. From that moment it went head to head, with Oradea equalizing at 20, 23, 24 and 25.

In the 51st minute, the Bihorians took the lead for the first time, score 26-25, and from that moment they did not give up the initiative on the scoreboard, they distanced themselves to two goals (27-25, 28-26, 29-27 and 30 -28), and in the last minute even three goals, score 31-28.
The last success, however, belonged to the guests, and the game ended with a score of 31-29, to the applause of the spectators, who fully enjoyed the evolution of the Oradea team in the second half.
As a result of this success, CSM Oradea climbed to the 3rd place in the ranking, with 17 points, over CSM Făgăraş, the other team that qualified for the play-offs and that finished with 16 points.
Located in the first two places, CSM Odorheiu Secuiesc and CSM Alexandria, obtained direct promotion to the National League.
CSM Oradea and CSM Făgăraş hope to participate in the play-off tournament for promotion to the National League, scheduled between May 31 and June 2, in which two more teams from the National League will participate, the ones in the 11th and 12th places. It is already known that one of them will be CSM Vaslui, because it will finish in 12th place, but CSA Steaua Bucharest and SCM Politehnica Timisoara are fighting to avoid 11th place.
In the game on Monday evening at Arena Antonio Alexe, for CSM Oradea the following scored: Ciprian Aungurenci – 8 goals, Alexandru Farcaş – 6 goals, Emilian Turcu, Deniss Kirsch and Viorel Boşca – 4 goals each, George Breban – 2 goals, Szasz Csongor and Alexandru Popa – one goal each.
From the team from Alexandria, the most effective was Bogdan Cozorici, with 8 goals, while George Voicu and Sorin Vamanu scored 5 goals each.
