Hegerberg Exposed to Gross Neatness: This is Going a Bit Too Far, Isn’t It?

Ada Hegerberg herself has disclosed that she received a distressing online message following the release of the latest edition of the EA Sports FC video game on the 24th. The Norwegian football star shared an audio message with her Instagram followers on Monday evening, in which the sender used highly offensive language to describe the Lyon star.

The context behind this incident appears to be related to a technical issue in the recent EA Sports FC 24 video game, where Hegerberg’s in-game character is reportedly challenging to control. Several French media outlets have reported on this issue.

In the message that Hegerberg shared on Instagram, she was subjected to derogatory and offensive language, including being referred to as a “whore.”

In response to this, Hegerberg expressed her displeasure, commenting, “This is going a bit too far, isn’t it?” on the picture.

EA Sports FC 24 is the latest installment in the FIFA game series, formerly known as FIFA. This year’s edition features a new name.

When the game was initially launched the previous week, Ada Hegerberg had expressed her gratitude to the producer for including her in the game. Notably, in the popular Ultimate Team game mode, players can now assemble teams that include both male and female players.
