What Is Pink Sauce?

If you’ve been on TikTok lately, you’ve probably seen videos of people making and eating pink sauce. But what exactly is this stuff? The recipe was originally posted by Chef Pii to her account blessed_mama_piii in April 2018 with the caption My hubby made me a little something for dinner.

According to the post, she initially put it on some shrimp but she was more interested in drinking it than cooking with it. In order to make your own bottle of pink sauce, all you need is a blender, dragon fruit, honey chilli, garlic and sunflower seed oil. Besides, she also added Himalayan sea salt, 2% of lemon juice, citric acid and milk. Blend the ingredients together until smooth then pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Her followers are going crazy for it. Some are even claiming that they are losing weight because of the delicious low calorie drink which has only 40 calories per serving.

How Can You Make Your Own Pink Sauce?

First, you’ll need to gather your ingredients: dragon fruit, honey chilli, garlic and sunflower seed oil, Himalayan sea salt, 2% of lemon juice, citric acid and milk. In a blender, mix together. Then, add Himalayan sea salt and to taste.

Once you have mixed everything together, give it a taste and adjust the seasoning as necessary. Remember that if you’re adding additional spices such as cayenne pepper or onion powder, they will likely change the color of your pink sauce so go easy on them at first.
