In 2017, it was released in Belgium for a limited time, but for some reason only as a zero sugar version. Not much is known about this special release.

As of Nov 2021, it is still being produced in that area of the US.

On September 9, 2020, the official Coca-Cola Journey page announced that Jamaica was getting a new flavor called sprite cranberry, released for a limited time in late 2020 and closed shortly afterwards.
