Sciatica, which is the condition that involves painful radiation along the sciatic nerve, is very disabling. This concept originates from Traditional Chinese Medicine and the principle of “qi” which is the flow of energy in the human body. When the area is wrapped in aluminum, it is believed that the foil can aid in the energy balance to diminish discomfort.
